This song was written for some special little people when they were quite young as a reminder to reconnect to that time when their lives were just one big pretend. If you were a child of the 70s, things like Saturday morning cartoons, Rankin and Bass holiday specials, riding bikes, and playing outside with friends all day might conjure up warm childhood memories. That's the vibe this song dares to keep alive❤️☺️. Sentimental, and a tinsy bit melancholy. And to all the little people in all of us!, I think this raw no frills in the moment recording says it all.
